Dezeen Showroom: Italian brand Lualdi and architect Piero Lissoni have added to their L7 door system design with L7 Edit, a line featuring new glass textures and graphic metal framing details.
The L7 Edit system of fixed and sliding partitions introduces impactful designs that make a strong impression by extending the metal of the aluminium frame into a T or cross motif across the doors.
The L7 Edit door system features a choice of aluminium cross patterns
Edit is an extension of Lualdi's existing L7 family of doors, which combine Lissoni's classic minimalist style with the brand's contemporary material and manufacturing techniques.
The doors have an aluminium frame that is 41 millimetres thick and encloses slim tempered glass panes available in a range of finishes.
The glass is available in a range of colours and textures
The finishes include various neutral colours and patterns, including a textured semi-opaque glass. Lualdi said the Edit doors had the effect of enhancing the geometries in its surrounding space.
The brand presented the L7 Edit system at Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2023, where it explored new combinations of materials and textures and how they can create balance within an interior.
